The Little FOCer rev3.1 has consistently served as the preferred controller within the VESC Onewheel community for several years, commonly referred to as the "foccer." With an impressive 250-amp maximum capacity, the foccer excels in fully utilizing the Hypercore and extending the capabilities of SuperFlux and CanonCore motors beyond what inferior controllers can achieve. While technically supporting up to 22s, it is important to note that the warranty covers only up to 20s, and exceeding this limit is not recommended. The foccer, unfortunately, exhibits little to no compatibility with LEDs, necessitating users to devise their own lighting solutions if illumination is a priority. Despite possessing acceptable Bluetooth connectivity, there is room for improvement. Notably, the foccer exclusively supports latching power switches, lacking auto shut-off functionality. Although it lacks a built-in heatsink, it is crucial to emphasize that effective cooling is essential and should be addressed through lid or box mounting solutions for this controller.
