The XR BMS is similar to the Pint BMS. It is set up for a 15S 2P battery. It is considered a decent BMS, and with the use of an OWIE chip, you read cell data. For the BMS, it is highly recommended to go for a charge-only mod, where you bypass the discharge protection capabilities of the BMS. This does mean that you will bypass battery overheating, over-discharge and any other protections built into the BMS, but it also means that the BMS that cannot suddenly cut power to your board and drop you mid-ride.

The Pint BMS comes with its own charge port, though it is recommended to still do the Charge-Only mod. It is also recommended to replace the charge connector with a direct wire, as the connector on it can’t handle more than 3.5 amps.
